Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... Yet to decide on Sanjay Dutt biopic title
SpotboyE had told you about Rajkumar Hirani completing the script of his next, a biopic on Sanjay Dutt.
Sanjay had held a long meeting with the filmmaker when he was recently out on furlough from Pune's Yerawada jail, where he is lodged in connection with the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case. (Dutt Visits Hirani To Complete His Biopic. Are You Ready, Ranbir? September 7.)
Well, now that the script is complete, Hirani is in a dilemma regarding the title of the film.
SpotboyE has learnt that the toss-up is now between two names: Dutt and Baba. While Dutt is being considered for obvious reasons -- surname hain na? -- Baba is what Sanju is fondly called in the industry.
The final decision, we hear, rests with and Sanjay and his wife Manyata. They will take a call on the title once Sanjay is back from the prison.
Coming back to the film, it's already known that Ranbir Kapoor has been finalised to play the senior actor in it.
He will start shooting only after his commitments with Karan Johar and Anurag Basu are over. He's currently shooting Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in Paris and post that will shift his attention to his home production Jagga Jasoos with the Barfi director.
Soon after giving his nod to the film, Ranbir had told the media, "Portraying Sanju sir on screen is a big task. And it comes with a huge responsibility. He's had a very entertaining, engaging, and a roller-coaster kind of a life."
"Manyata is aware of the both the titles. Hirani has been keeping the family in the loop. But she wants to leave the decision to Sanjay, though she likes Dutt more," says a source close to the Dutt clan.
